YEREVAN. – The Armenian textile can fully withstand the Turkish and Chinese products, Minister of Economy Karen Chshmarityan told Armenian News-NEWS.am.

In his words, such conclusions can also be drawn after speaking with the local producers.

“They understand what I’m talking about. If the product is good quality, it can fit into the cost price limits which will allow them to compete, at least within the country, including the consideration of the wage factor.

“But the main [thing] is not the saving in salary, but the modernization of production. It’s just that not everyone makes investments,” the minister added, in particular.
