YEREVAN. – The Armenian government will help researchers open scientific laboratories in partnership with private sector, Deputy Economy Minister Sergey Avetisyan told Armenian News-NEWS.am.

“If any company, including an international one, decides to open a research laboratory in Armenia in cooperation with the government, we will be able to provide financial support to the project. The procedure for talks and funding will be confirmed later,” he added.

As reported earlier, Armenia will receive a $50-million loan from the World Bank for trade promotion and development infrastructure. The agreement signed in August was approved by the Armenian Cabinet in late November.
