YEREVAN. – The situation on the Armenia-Azerbaijan border was tense last night, the Armenian defense minister’s press secretary, Artsrun Hovhannisyan, told Armenian News-NEWS.am.

He noted that the adversary fired close to 200 shots, but the shooting stopped after when the Armenian side responded. Fortunately, there are no casualties or injuries from the Armenian side.

In addition, Azerbaijan made a sabotage attempt at night, which, however, was driven back.

According to our information, as a result of the sabotage attempts and other operations that were carried out over the course of the past one week, the adversary suffered five or six casualties, two of whom had died by stepping on landmines.
