Poland intends to ease visa requirements with Armenia and even to lift it in the near future, Polish Foreign Minister Radoslaw Sikorski stated at the July 14 press conference in Yerevan.

According to him, the facilitation of a national visa regime is not on the agenda yet, as in case of Shengen visa the issue is a bit complicated. The Polish FM promised that the visa free for an entrance to Poland will be shortly reduced for citizens of Armenia. The Minister also stressed the importance of direct air communication between Poland and Armenia for the intensification of bilateral ties. He also noted the two states have great potential for economic cooperation.

RA Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian said Armenia is interested in and is ready for easing visa regime with Poland and other EU states. He underscored contractual underpinnings develops between the two states, furthering the expansion of relations.
