YEREVAN. – The Police of Armenia’s capital city Yerevan received a call from city resident Vahe M. (born in 1989), on Friday at 2:55am, who informed that he had hit a man with an axe.

The Police also received a report from “Erebouni” Medical Center in Yerevan, on the same day at 3:45, that the ambulance staff had transferred an about 60-year-old man to the hospital, and he was diagnosed with polytrauma.

The police squad, which was dispatched to the scene, found out that Vahe M. had hit Hrayr H. (born in 1959) with the blunt side of an axe, on the same day at 2:30, and during an argument

According to the medical report, Hrayr H. was unable to provide an account on the incident.

Vahe M. was brought to a police station at 4:10am.

An investigation is underway.
