STEPANAKERT. – The adversary violated the ceasefire on the Line of Contact between the Karabakh-Azerbaijani opposing forces around 800 times, on January 24 and 25.

During this time, more than 14,000 shots were fired in the direction of Armenian military positions, and by way of different-caliber rifle weaponry, mine throwers, and grenade launchers, the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR) Defense Army reported.

The Defense Army vanguard divisions, however, took retaliatory actions. As a result, the adversary suffered three casualties and two wounded; the Defense Army, on the other hand, has suffered no casualties, the NKR MOD press service reported.

The Nagorno-Karabakh Republic vanguard units continue to confidently carry out their military watch along the entire length of the Line of Contact.
