Armenian chess players failed the fifth round of FIDE Grand Prix Chess Tournament in Jermuk (Armenia). Levon Aronian was defeated by Rustam Kasmijanov (Uzbekistan) and Vladimir Hakobyan by Boris Gelfand (Israel).
Peter Leko and Vassily Ivanchuk are the leaders having 3.5 points each. Aronian is 0.5 points behind.
The sixth round will commence on August 15.
