YEREVAN. – Transition to zero roaming service within Eurasian Economic Union will require time, General Director of Beeline Armenia Andrey Pyatakhin told reporters.
The company is aware of the initiatives at the level of Eurasian agencies, but there are no ready solutions.
“We know that the regulators of telecommunications markets of the EAEC are working in this direction. We are also discussing this issue with the Commission on regulation of public services. The matter depends on how the operators in different countries will be able to settle inter-operator tariffs,” he added.
Pyatakhin explained that the problem will be resolved as early as countries become integrated more closely.
“Everyone is citing the example of the European roaming, but let's remember when the EU was formed and how closely integrated the countries are now,” he added.
