Armenian Defense Minister Seyran Ohanyan met with Iranian Minister of Defense and Armed Forces Logistics Ahmad Vahidi.

Ohanyan stressed Armenia attaches particular significance to the expansion of ties with Iran.

“Cordial bonds between Iran and Armenia will help maintain peace and stability in the region. Regional problems can and should be addressed through the collective wisdom of regional states,” Press TV quotes Vahidi.

Vahidi, in his turn, expressed hope Ohanyan’s visit will contribute to improving bilateral ties and establishing peace and stability in the region.
