RA Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian participated in a joint sitting, the Armenia-EU parliamentary cooperation commission and the Armenian delegation to the Euronest Parliamentary Assembly.
The RA foreign office’s press service informed NEWS.am that Minister Nalbandian first delivered a detailed report on the Almaty meeting, particularly on the latest developments in the Nagorno-Karabakh peace process. The sides exchanged views on the ways of settling the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict and on the current state of the negotiation process.
Head of the Armenian delegation Vahan Hovhannisyan clarified the details of the latest visit by Speaker of the RA Parliament Hovik Abrahamyan. He stressed the issues of parliamentary cooperation. According to hi, Euronest is likely to hold its maiden sitting this September.
Naira Zohrabyan, Co-Chairperson of the Armenia-EU parliamentary commission informed the attendees of the details of her latest visit to Warsaw. She also said the Armenia-EU Commission is to hold a sitting this November.
