The exchange rate between the AMD and USD is reaching the point of 370 AMD/U.S. $1 though most experts expect no serious fluctuations.

Today’s exchange rate has been 369.75 AMD/U.S. $1 on the stock exchange, the average exchange rate being 369.18 AMD. U.S. $1.5m transactions have been effected.

The Central Bank of Armenia (CBA) reports it refrained from intervening in the purchase and sale market. The question is: why is the CBA refraining from influencing the exchange rate by means of stock exchange transactions?
