Any vote on Nagorno-Karabakh peace process is possible after a long process. The principles have to be agreed now for guarantees to be provided to all the sides, stated Peter Semneby, EU Special Representative for South Caucasus.
He pointed out that the OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs (Russia, France and the U.S.) published the settlement principles.
Semneby believes it is an excellent basis for settlement, and the European Union (EU) calls on both sides to remain committed to the principles, Interfax reports.
The Armenia-Turkey reconciliation process has influence on the Nagorno-Karabakh peace process.
The two processes are not formally linked. On the other hand, whatever happens in one of them, it has its impact on mutual confidence, Semneby said.
