YEREVAN. – About two weeks ago, some people disassembled and took away the bio-toilet which was installed nearby the Tatev Monastery aerial tramway, and which had cost $170 thousand on the state budget of the Republic of Armenia (RA), Zhoghovurd daily reported.

“Tatev village mayor Murad Simonyan had said that the National Competitiveness Foundation [of Armenia] had taken the ‘bio-toilet.’ But in response to Zhoghovurd’s query, they [, at the foundation,] had said they have nothing to do with the disappearance of the expensive ‘property,’ and had recommended to petition to the RA Ministry of the Economy.     

“And RA Minister of Economy Karen Chshmarityan, for his part, had told Zhoghovurd that their ministry has nothing to do with their story, and had recommended to petition to the National Competitiveness Foundation.   

“Let’s hope that, ultimately, someone will answer for pulverizing the state resources,” Zhoghovurd wrote.
