YEREVAN. – The framework agreement on Iran's nuclear program is another opportunity for Armenia, political analyst Alexander Markarov believes.

This is a new opportunity in terms of increasing trade turnover between Armenia and Iran, entering Iran's market where there used to be certain restrictions in the past.

“In terms of regional influence, we can assume that relations between Iran and Turkey will become more strained to a certain extent. The question is how Iran will develop relations with the foreign actors who are also interested in preserving their influence in the region,” Markarov said.

According to the statement by the parties, compromise has been reached on key issues, but the differences remain.
