RA Minister of Transport and Communication Manuk Vardanyan held a meeting with Indian Ambassador to Armenia Mr. Achal K Malhotra.

The press service of the RA Ministry of Transport and Communication informed NEWS.am that Ambassador Malhotra pointed out a high level of bilateral political relations, which, however, does not influence bilateral trade and investments. India is not involved in any investment program in Armenia. The Indian Ambassador stressed that the bilateral economic ties and investment programs need intensifying.

The Ambassador also said that a delegation of the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) is to visit Armenia this October. Armenian and Indian businessmen will have an opportunity to establish contacts in various fields.
