At about 8:00 p.m. July 27 a major road accident occurred on the Yerevan-Aparan highway. Near the village of Artashavan, a Ford-Transit collided with a Zhiguli (photo).
Both the cars left the road smashed into the rocks. As a result, 12 passengers were injured and taken to hospitals of Ashtarak, Yerevan and Talin.
The NEWS.am photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan reports that the Ford-Transit was transporting a dance group from Vanadzor.
