RA Minister of Defense Seyran Ohanyan awarded the Vazgen Sargsyan medal to the senior sergeant Sasun Grigoryan and the private Narek Garakeshishyan. The press service of the RA Ministry of Defense informed NEWS.am that the soldiers were awarded for effectively performing their duties, defending the Armenian border and saving their companion-in-arms.

At the central military hospital, Minister Ohanyan awarded Narek Garakeshishyan and wished him good health.

An award ceremony was also held at the office building of the RA Ministry of Defense. Minister Ohanyan awarded Sasun Gevorgyan. The Minister thanked him for saving his companion-in-arms and wished him good health and service.
