In a number of cities of Turkey, including Diyarbakir, events commemorating Armenian Genocide victims took place Friday.
The mourning event held in Diyarbakir was attended by Kurdish People’s Democratic Party (HDP) Chairman Selahattin Demirtaş, MP Altan Tan, Diyarbakir Mayor Gultan Kisanak, as well as lawyers, NGO representatives, Armenian guests and local residents.
Armenian newspaper “Agos” published in Istanbul presented the photos of the aforementioned event.
