This January-June Armenia registered the second highest rise in prices for consumer goods in the post Soviet states. The prices went up by 4.5 % since the beginning of the year.
Moldova is the first with 5.4% price rise, whereas Kazakhstan and Russia - 3rd (4.4% each), followed by Belarus and Kyrgyzstan (4.1% each), Uzbekistan (4%), Ukraine (3.3%), Estonia (3%), Tajikistan (2.8), Lithuania (2.2%), Azerbaijan (2.1%), Georgia (2%) and Latvia (1.8%). Information on Turkmenistan is not available.
