Bulgarian President Georgi Parvanov signed a decree on July 27 awarding RA Ambassador to Bulgaria Sergey Manasaryan Order of Stara Planina, First Class.

The press service of the RA foreign office informed NEWS.am that the award ceremony was held at the residence of the Bulgarian President on July 30.

Attending the ceremony were RA Honorary Consuls in Plovdiv and Varna, Yeghiazar Uzunyan and Sargis Sargsyan, Armenian clergymen, Bulgarian MPs, members of the Sofia public council, representatives of the Armenian community and journalists.
