RA Vice-Premier, Minister of Regional Administration Armen Gevorgyan visited the Tavush region to inspect the renovation work on the landslide-damaged section of National Road M4, as well as the construction of a 6.3-km-long bypass road.

Minister Gevorgyan was informed that the construction would be completed before this September. Up-to-date technologies are being applied in the construction work. In case of emergencies, it will ensure effective communication.

In the Koti community Vice-Premier Gevorgyan was informed of the construction of an irrigation canal under IFAD programs. It is to be put in commission this September, which will make the irrigation of an area of 1,100 hectares possible.

Vice-Premier Gevorgyan also visited Barekamavan. Ararat Khlgatyan, Deputy Director of the Hayastan All Armenian Fund, reported that the Fund is now discussing the construction of a new city hall, drinking water and irrigation network. Gevorgyan ordered the program implementation process to be summed up before the first half of September, and financing of programs to be specified.

The RA Vice-Premier promised to deal with the issues on returning to Yerevan.
