STEPANAKERT. - On occasion of the 70th anniversary of the Victory Day, as well as Karabakh Defense Army and Shoushi Liberation Day, Karabakh’s President Bako Sahakyan signed a number of decrees on conferments.  

Zhanna Galstyan, head of the NKR National Assembly's standing committee on the issues of defense, security and legality, was bestowed the highest rank of “Hero of Artsakh” and awarded the “Golden Cross” medal for her exceptional merits to the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic, NKR President’s Press Service reports. 

The President also awarded a number of people with various medals, including “Military Cross”, “Medal of Courage,” “Medal for Combat Services,” “Medal for Liberation of Shoushi” etc.
