Iran has resumed gas supply to Turkey, the National Iranian Gas Company (NIGC) said on Saturday.  

The supplies (25 million cubic meters per day) were resumed today’s morning after the Turkish side stated it had eliminated the consequences of the incident and is ready to receive gas, said NIGC representative Villullah Dini, ISNA reported.

As NEWS.am reported earlier, a blast occurred on a gas pipeline on July 20. Thereafter, Iran suspended gas supply at Turkey’s request. Turkish security agencies condemned Kurdistan Workers’ Party for a blast on a gas pipeline connecting Turkey with Iran. After the incident Russian Gazprom increased gas supply to Turkey from 14m to 22m cubic meters.
