The meeting of Foreign Ministers of countries participating in the Resolute Support Mission was held in Antalya Wednesday. The meeting was dedicated to the questions of the ongoing mission in Afghanistan, as well as the discussion on ensuring the long-lasting NATO partnership and the agreement on the general approach of the 2016 Warsaw Summit to that question.

The meeting was attended by FMs and their representatives from about forty countries, which are NATO member states and Resolute Support Mission participants. Armenia was represented by Armen Yedigarian, Permanent Representative of Armenia to NATO. 

Yedigarian delivered a speech, in which he reconfirmed Armenia’s commitment to continue the support to the international collective efforts aimed at ensuring security in Afghanistan. He also expressed hope that Afghanistan’s current government will continue to ensure progress in all spheres establishing solidarity and good neighborly atmosphere.
