The Eurasian Economic Commission is discussing possible signing of the agreement on free trade with Iran, member of the Union's board Andrey Slepnyov said.
The initiative of the Iranian side has been stated not long ago, and received the support of all member states at the level of experts and state agencies.
“We will soon launch joint study for the further negotiations,” he said.
In the near future the Eurasian Economic Commission will hold initiative with the Armenian business and regulators to develop guidelines and approaches to these negotiations, given that Armenia is the only member having a land border with Iran and having a great trading experience with IRI, Slepnyov added.
