Armenia’s President Serzh Sargsyan congratulated Charles Aznavour, the French songwriter of Armenian descent, on his 91st birthday. The world-famous songwriter holds the honorary title of National Hero of Armenia.  

According to the Armenia’s President’s press service, Sargsyan congratulated the songwriter, wishing him strong health, new artistic success and all the best.

Despite his overloaded schedule, the great singer finds time for his regular visits to Armenia.   

On April 24, Aznavour once again visited Armenia together with the delegation of the French President Francois Hollande on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide.
