YEREVAN. - From fall 2015 Armenia will be able to participate in the UN rescue missions, Vache Terteryan, First Deputy Minister of Territorial Administration and Emergency Situations, announced today at the parliamentary hearings on state budget fulfillment for 2014. 

Armenian Rescue Service (ARS) initiated the process of joining the International Search and Rescue Advisory Group (INSARAG) under the auspices of the UN.

Armenia has recently hosted instructors from Poland, who will prepare the Armenian colleagues for the certification. “I think everything will be OK, and from September Armenia will be able to fully participate in the UN humanitarian operations,” Terteryan said.
