YEREVAN. – The Ministry of Territorial Administration and Emergency Situations of Armenia received a distress call on Thursday at 11:28am.
Accordingly, a child’s head had gotten stuck between the elevator doors of a house in capital city Yerevan, and rescuers were needed.
A fire and rescue squad was dispatched to the scene.
The firemen and rescue workers took Lyusi B. (born in 2010) out of the elevator.
M. B. (born in 2008) and the child’s nanny, N. Z., also had been in the elevator.
The child was transferred to hospital, where the doctors said she is in critical condition.
