YEREVAN. - The anti-Armenian statement made by the Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan during the election campaign shows that Turkey is far from democracy, the ruling Republican Party of Armenia (RPA) spokesman Eduard Sharmazanov told Armenian News – NEWS.am following the RPA Executive Body session on Thursday.

He also said that the Turkish Presidents statement that Turkey’s biggest enemies are ‘the Armenian lobby, homosexuals and those who believe in ‘Alevism without Ali,’’ once again comes to prove that the Turkish political elite suffers from Armenian complex.

“This is not something new; Erdogan’s anti-Armenian statement shows his true political face, the fact that Turkey’s political elite is still far from democracy,” he said.
