YEREVAN. – The Ministry of Territorial Administration and Emergency Situations of Armenia received a distress call on Friday at 1:11am.

Accordingly, a traffic accident had occurred at an intersection in Vanadzor city of the Lori Province, there was an affected person, and rescuers were needed.

A fire and rescue squad was dispatched to the scene.

It was found out that a vehicle had gone of road for yet unknown reasons, crashed into the curbs, and ended up in a green zone.

Driver H. M., 51, had died on the spot from the injuries sustained.

Prior to the fire and rescue squad’s arrival at the scene, however, the driver’s dead body was taken out of the car and transferred by local efforts.
