Russia may start importing crude from Iran next week as part of an oil-for-goods agreement, said Iranian Energy Minister Bijan Namdar Zanganeh, TASS news agency of Russia reported citing Bloomberg.
“We hope that next week” Russia will take its first imports, Zanganeh told reporters.
He added, however, that Iran needs to know how much oil Russia wants to purchase.
