YEREVAN. - Armenian authorities should not be proud of the fact that they don’t buy luxurious cars: economizing is their responsibility, MP Tigran Urikhanyan said in the parliament on Monday. According to him, there can be no other treatment when the MPs receive tens and thousands of requests on the most vital issues: the sick ask for medicines, the hungry for bread and the homeless for some corner, he said.
“The economy cannot develop (as the authorities insist) in the conditions when the unemployment and migration increase. It’s necessary to point out to the oligarchs the limits, liberalize the markets, support industrial unions and contribute to the opening of new jobs,” Urikhanyan said.
