A Turkish soldier and six Kurdish rebels were killed in the clashes in the eastern Turkish province of Agri, Press TV reported.

The members of Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK) also attacked a police department in Diyarbakir province, as a result a Turkish soldier was injured.

Another three Kurds were killed in the incident which occurred in the mountain region of Hakkari province.

Three PKK rebels were killed and two policemen wounded in a shootout near the Governor’s office in the city of Van.
