YEREVAN. - 9400 seats have been allocated to vocational secondary education by government order pursuant to the decision adopted at the Armenian government session on Wednesday.

Interest towards the vocational technical and secondary education is growing, Armenia’s Education Minister Armen Ashotyan said at the session. This was brought about by the propaganda conducted by the Education Ministry during the recent years, as well as by the abolishment of entrance exams to the vocational secondary education institutions.

The seats in processing industry and construction, as well as in the areas of services, business and law prevail in vocational secondary education in Armenia.
