YEREVAN. – The new draft bill on Dilijan in fact suggests handing over the town to billionaire Ruben Vardanyan, opposition MP Nikol Pashinyan said during the debates on development and investments in Dilijan.

“I do respect intellectual programs launched by Vardanyan in Dilijan [UWC college – ed.], but by adopting the draft bill we will simply give him the town as a gift. For me it is continuation of the policy of the Armenian authorities: Syunik to Surik Khachatryan, Artashat to Hovik Abrahamyan, Abovyan to Gagik Tsarukyan, Malatia district to Samvel Aleksanyan. Do you want to put every village and town up to auction?” Pashinyan said during his speech in the parliament.
