Radical reforms are under way in Armenia’s police system. After the reform program has been completed in 2011, Armenia will have a police system meeting present-day requirements, Chief of the RA Police Alik Sargsyan stated at the certificate award ceremony at the RA Police Academy.

The press service of the RA Police informed NEWS.am that attending the ceremony were top-ranking police officers, guests and the graduates’ parents. According to General Sargsyan, the Armenian police are a guarantor of constitutional order and social stability in Armenia. “The Armenia police flows all the principles of human rights protection and equality,” Alik Sargsyan said.
