YEREVAN. - The European Games in Baku revealed Azerbaijan’s true face, Armenian Parliament Deputy Speaker Eduard Sharmazanov told Armenian News – NEWS.am Thursday after the Executive body session of the ruling Republican Party of Armenia (RPA).

According to him, the Baku Games were a well-packaged show.  

“Everyone was able to see during the Games the issues Azerbaijan has with regard to human rights and development of democracy. The Games revealed two kinds of Azerbaijan: the fist is the stadium, where everything is fine and everyone wears a smile on their face, the second one being the real despotic Azerbaijan, where human rights are always violated,” Sharmazanov said.  

According to him, the European Games held in Baku once again enabled the world to see that Azerbaijan is a despotic country, which has nothing to do with democracy, while a democratic country - the Republic of Nagorno-Karabakh  - is developing near Azerbaijan.
