YEREVAN. – An injured military couple were recently brought to Armenia’s capital city of Yerevan on a helicopter from the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic, and to receive emergency medical treatment.

At present, they are being treated at the Research Center of Radiation Medicine and Burns of Armenia.

Center Director Norayr Davidyan told Armenian News-NEWS.am that the husband is in critical condition, but if he surmounts the next several days, everything will be fine.

Davidyan noted that the wife, on the other hand, is in stable condition, and her burns were relatively few.

The couple had sustained burns at home, as the boiling water in their natural gas boiler had poured on them.
