The Armenian Apostolic Church Diocese of Bulgaria has elected a new leader. The election was held in St. Sarkis Church in Varna.
“48 out of 52 members present at the diocese meeting elected Fr. Isahak Poghosyan, Director of Social Services of the Holy See of Etchmiatzin as a new leader of Armenian Diocese in Bulgaria,” press service of Armenia’s Mother See reports.
The new Diocese Leader will commence his ministerial duties after receiving blessings from the Catholicos of All Armenians.
