On August 9, NKR President Bako Sahakyan participated in the closing ceremony of the first gathering of the “Sons of Artsakh” scout movement held in Shushi.

The President hailed positive “Hayk’s Generation” organization’s initiative to found a scout movement in Artsakh with the participation of youth from Armenia and Diaspora, NKR presidential press service informed NEWS.am.

He also noted that the initiative will further strengthening of the Armenia-Artsakh-Diaspora ties.

Primate of the Artsakh Diocese of the Armenian Apostolic Church Archbishop Pargev Martirosyan, NKR Ministers of education and science, culture and youth affairs, as well as other officials were present at the ceremony.
