A group of Iranian Armenians and Iranians decided to climb the summit of Mt. Ararat to mark 120th anniversary of creation of  the ARF Dashnaktsutyun and 27th anniversary of the killings of the Lisbon Five, DPTNews reported.

The young people have started their climb on July 17 and made a camp at an elevation of 4,000 m. The group reached Ararat summit on July 18 morning. They erected the flags of Armenia and ARFD.

As NEWS.am reported earlier, a group of 11 Armenians climbed Mt. Ararat and erected the flags of Armenia and the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic in July.

The President of the Chamber of Trade and Industry in Agri province (Turkey) Mehmet Erat noted that in case the fact is confirmed, the Agri citizens will take down the flags and erect the Turkish one from the Armenian side. He also stressed that the fact had not been confirmed yet, saying “If Agri citizens knew about it, they would bury the climbers on
