Demand on government’s resignation is not on the agenda of ARF Dashnaktutyun, Secretary of the ARFD parliamentary group Artyusha Shahbazyan told NEWS.am, commenting on the recent press reports saying that ARFD intends to demand resignation of Premier and his team, taking advantage of government’s failures in social and economic spheres.

“Dashnaktsutyun has repeatedly voiced criticism against the government. Our stance on the issue is clear. As to the recent reports spread by media, it seems to be cooked up,” he stressed.

In theory, the ARFD might put the issue on the agenda when they “see there is economic crisis and the corruption cannot be tackled”, he stated, adding that presently the issue is not being discussed. “We are concerned over the mentioned problems, but the ARFD does not view government’s resignations as a top priority,” he concluded.
