YEREVAN. - Turkish citizens visit the Armenian Genocide Museum-Institute almost every day, Hayk Demoyan, Director of the Armenian Genocide Museum-Institute told today at the opening of the 12th meeting of the International Association of Genocide Scholars (IAGS), entitled “Comparative Analysis of 20th Century Genocides.”
According to him, four Turkish citizens visited the museum today. “This inspires us. It’s inspiring that Armenia and Armenian Genocide Museum-Institute are visited by ordinary citizens, who are interested in familiarizing themselves with and confronting the episodes of their own history. Being inspired, we must also be ready to work with the civil society of Turkey, This is very important,” Demoyan said.
