YEREVAN. - Mutual understanding is an important basis for the development of relations, Eiji Taguchi, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Japan to Armenia said during the event entitled “High art and traditions…from Japan.”  

The event was organized upon the joint initiative of Armenia-Japan Scientific, Educational and Cultural Center “Hikari” and the Embassy of Japan. The Ambassador also promised to organize more cultural events like that.   

The guests were presented with the Japanese puppetry and kimono. “Hikari” centre received a wedding kimono as a gift. The event was concluded by a tea-party.
