YEREVAN. - The construction project of Armenia-Iran railway is long-term, Republican Party of Armenia (RPA) spokesman Eduard Sharmazanov told Armenian News – NEWS.am today after the session of the RPA Executive Body.
“Armenia attaches importance to the construction of the [Armenia-Iran] railway. [Armenia’s] President Sargsyan also noted about its importance during his official visit to China, saying it’s the continuation of the Silk Road,” Sharmazanov said.
