Installation of speed cameras on Yerevan-Sevan highway is justified, Aram Harutyunyan, Governor of Armenia’s Kotayk province told Armenian News – NEWS.am.

“As you know, the accidents on Yerevan-Sevan highway are not few, unfortunately. That’s why the safety measures here are justified. Imagine how many accidents occur annually and how desirable it is to avoid them,” Harutyunyan said.

On occasion of the Feast of the Transfiguration, the police will tomorrow enhance the control over Yerevan – Sevan – Dilijan, Yerevan – Ashtarak, Yerevan – Geghard, as well as other highways leading to the recreation zones of Kotayk province.
