Reopening of Surb Kahch church on Akhtamar Island is a publicity stunt, whereas Armenians participating in it back Ankara’s propaganda, Giro Manoyan, head of the Hay Dat (Armenian Cause) office, ARF Dashnaktsutyun told the journalists on Friday.

According to him, the Turkish authorities do nothing to use this event as a move to normalize the Armenian-Turkish relations. It is unclear what will happen during the event, he stressed, adding that the Armenian officials had not been invited yet.
