YEREVAN. – Lusine Mangoyan, who had suffered burns from a natural gas tank explosion, is in critical but stable condition.

The Center of Radiation Medicine and Burns of Armenia, in capital city Yerevan, informed the aforementioned to Armenian News-NEWS.am.

They also told us that the woman had sustained 40- to 45-percent burns, her airway was burnt, too, and her burns are first, second and third degree.

Now, the patient is out of the shock, but she will remain in the intensive care unit for several more days, and then her further treatment will be organized.

As for her son, Levon Margaryan, he was not hospitalized, and he is receiving outpatient treatment.

On Friday, the mother and son were taken to the abovementioned center, and due to the burns they had sustained from a natural gas tank explosion in the Armavir Province. The hospital had informed Armenian News-NEWS.am that Mangoyan, 46, and Margaryan, 27, were brought to the center. The son was in a relatively stable condition, whereas the mother was in intensive care.
