“There is no ultimatum,” Deputy Press Secretary Bill Burton told a briefing in the White House, commenting on the report by the Financial Times that Obama warned Turkish Premier Erdogan on deterioration of Israeli-Turkish relations.

“I really don’t know where they would have divined that from.  The President and Erdogan did speak about 10 days ago and they talked about Iran and the flotilla and other issues related to that.  But we obviously have an ongoing dialogue with them.  But no such ultimatum was issued,” he said.

As NEWS.am reported earlier, the Financial Time wrote that U.S. President Barack Obama personally called Erdogan and warned him that Turkey’s positions on Israel and Iran could affect U.S. arms sales to Turkey.
