YEREVAN. - United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) is one of the most important partners of Armenia’s Ministry of Science and Education, Armenia’s Education Minister Armen Ashotyan said today at the meeting with UNICEF Representative Henriette Ahrens, who is completing her mission in Armenia.

During the meeting, the new cooperation program between the Armenian government and UNICEF for 2016-2021 was discussed, as reported by Armenia’s Education Ministry press-service. Specifically, the issue of the seismic security of Armenian schools was touched on.

By the end of the meeting, Ashotyan gifted Henriette Ahrens with one of the works of Armenian students.
